James H. “Sam” McClellan

WINNSBORO (Special) — Funeral services were held at 9 a.m. today in the chapel of First National Funeral Home of here for James H. “Sam” McClellan, 82, of Winnsboro.

The Rev. Milton Williams and Dr. Randall Sledge officiated, with burial in Ogden Cemetery at Liddieville.

Mr. McClellan died Tuesday night at a Winnsboro hospital after a lengthy illness.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Gladys Myers McClellan of Winnsboro; one daughter, Mrs. Juanita Tullos of Ferriday; and four grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Ed Randall, Berry Chapman, Harry Ezell, Eugene Hitt, Lothard Hitt and Malgene Sanders.
