James Pope
WEST BLOCTON -- The Rev. James Harvey Pope, 83, of West
Blocton, died Nov. 2, 1992, at Bibb Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Rockco Funeral Home
Chapel in Centreville. The Rev. Bill Johnston will officiate with burial in
Kinard Cemetery and Rockco Funeral Home directing.
He was a former pastor of Third Baptist Church of West Blocton.
Survivors include his wife, Lorene M. Pope, West Blocton; a
daughter, Wanda Jean Pope, West Blocton; a brother, the Rev. Macon
Pope, Sr., West Blocton; a sister, Clarice Daniell, Madison, Miss.;
and other relatives.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 tonight at the funeral home.
