Funeral services for James H. Rolen, 54, of Winnsboro were held at 3 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 7th, in Temple Baptist Church with Dr. Randall Sledge officiating.

Interment was in Ogden Cemetery under the the direction of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home.

He was a member of Winnsboro D.A.R., Post No. 27, a retired insurance salesman, a veteran of World War II, a member of the V.F.W., Diamond Hawthorne Post No. 3155, and a member of Winnsboro DAR Post No. 27.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Erma Mae Rolen, Winnsboro; one son, Jimmy Rolen, West Monroe; three brothers, Louis W. Rolen, West Monroe, David Rolen, Winnsboro and Herman Rolen, Seagrove (sic Seagraves), Tex.; one sister, Mrs. Elaine Arnold, Baton Rouge and 3 grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Roy Ellerbe, Clark Smith, Ted Smith, Cecil Pylant, Virgil Dampier, Jack Norman, Herbert Furr and Lonnis Jones.
