James H. Jordan

HODGE -- Funeral services for James Horace Jordan, 68, of Hodge were to be at 3 p.m. today at Hodge Baptist Church with the Rev. James W. Runnels officiating.

Burial was to be in Hodge Cemetery under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home of Jonesboro.

He died Monday at his residence after suffering an apparent heart attack.

Mr. Jordan was a retired foreman at Continental Can Co. here.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Amboline Wheatley Jordan of Hodge; three daughters, Mrs. W. J. Hughes of Maplewood, Mrs. John Hays of Monroe and Mrs. Billy Ted Walsworth of Shreveport; three sisters, Mrs. Cecil Wallace of Houston, Tex., Mrs. Sarah Harville and Mrs. Nena Jewell both of Jonesboro; one brother, Otto Jordan of Winnfield; eight grandchildren.
