JAMES I. SEALS

JENA -- James Ivy Seals, 62, died yesterday in an Alexandria hospital after a long illness.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today in the Nolley Memorial Methodist Church with the Rev. Ed Barksdale officiating.

Burial will be in Belaa [sic Belah] Cemetery near Trout under the direction of Kinner and Stephens Funeral Home of Jena.

Mr. Seals was a retired lumber inspector and a Mason.

Survivors are his widow; one son, Robert Alton Seals of Baton Rouge; three sisters, Mrs. Harold Richmond, Mrs. D. D. Perkins and Mrs. L. T. Crow, all of Oakdale; one brother, Elmer Seals of Oakdale; his father, James A. Seals of Oakdale; and three grandchildren.
