John J. Doyle

Services for John J. Doyle, 64, of Pineville, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Hixson Bros., Pineville, with the Revs. Van Westberry and Edward Mayo officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

He died at 3:15 p.m. Friday in Aimwell. He was a retired plumber, a member of the Lakeside United Pentecostal Church and a native of Harrisonburg.

Survivors include his wife, Vertie Doyle of Pineville; five daughters, Shirley Jacobs and Johnell Maxner, both of Augusta, Ga., Carol Duggan of Camp Lejuene, N.C., and Vera Roach and Joyce Mott, both of Pineville; a brother, Friend Doyle of Oelwien, Iowa; four sisters, Nellie Ford of Aimwell, Bertie Taylor of Harrisonburg, Maggie Henderson of Monroe and Mrs. A.D. Anderson of Aimwell; and 16 grandchildren.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today.
