Mr. James Lamar Crain

SHREVEPORT, LA. - Services for Mr. James Lamar Crain, 73, of Shreveport, were held at 2:30 p.m., Monday, January 25, 1993 at Rose-Neath's Marshall St. Chapel. Officiating was pastor David A. Tietz of First Lutheran Church. Burial was in Forest Park West. Military rites were by the 12th District Department of Louisiana Veterans of Foreign Wars Honor Guard.

Visitation was from 5-8 p.m., Sunday, January 24, 1993.

Mr. Crain, a native of Sikes, LA and resident of Shreveport for 40 years, died January 22, 1993 at Bossier Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was a retired shop foreman and member of First Lutheran Church and the V.F.W. Post #4588.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Hermine Henneke Crain; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Lester and Lynette D. Crain; daughter and son-in-law, Daphne C. and Charles Strickland; sister, Blanche Ingouf of Richmond, VA; brother, Basham Morris Crain of Cumming, GA; grandchildren, Amanda Strickland, Ben Strickland, Adam Crain, K'lyn Crain and Lacey Crain.

Pallbearers were Charles Wilbanks, Keith Jackson, Kenneth Berg, Bob Ferrier, Frank Leadaman and Ralph Johnson.

Honorary Pallbearers were John Barthold, Calvin Hollis, Ray Walker and Russell Friend.
