Mr. James Lavelle ``Jimmy'' Underwood, Jr.

Funeral services for Mr. James Lavelle ``Jimmy'' Underwood, Jr. were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2004 in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel in Winnfield with the Rev. James Simons officiating. Burial followed in the Wright Cemetery at Sikes, LA.

Mr. Underwood, age 46 of Sikes, LA died on Saturday, April 24 in Sikes, LA. He was a member of the Louisiana Loggers Association and was employed by Lowell Hubbard Logging.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Lavelle Underwood, Sr.

Survivors are one son, Jeremy Underwood of Dodson, LA; one daughter, Andrea Underwood of Ruston, LA; mother Patty Jo Underwood of Sikes, LA; two sisters, Mary Kendrick and Retta Roberts of West Monroe, LA; and a twin sister, Jeannie Horton of Jena, LA.

Pallbearers were Earl Lasyone, Albert Littleton, Bobby Bolds, John Frisby, Randy Neatherland, and Carl Simons.

Honorary Pallbearers were the Lowell Hubbard Logging Crew.
