James L. Rabun

SHREVEPORT, LA - Services will be conducted at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, La., for Mr. James L. Rabun, 74, of Shreveport, Friday, May 15, 1992 at 11 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Willis Dear of Summer Grove United Methodist Church where Mr. Rabun was a member, assisting will be Rev. W. D. Boddie, Rev. Bob Crichlow and Rev. Terry Love. Interment will be at Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery.

He entered into rest Tuesday, May 12, 1992 at the Summitt Hospital after a lengthy illness. Mr. Rabun was a veteran of WWII, a member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, a member of the Live Oak Choir at Live Oak Retirement Community where he lived and a member of the Ragan Middleton Sunday School Class at Summer Grove United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mrs. Frances Mary Perkins Rabun; cousins, Effie and Frankie Monkhouse.

Pallbearers will be member of the Ragan Middleton Sunday School Class and member of Live Oak Community.

In lieu of flowers make donations to Summer Grove United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.
