J. L. Dorman

James Leon Dorman, Sr., 78, Route 3, Winnsboro, died unexpectedly June 9. He collapsed while talking to members of his family, outside at his residence.

Funeral services were held June 10 at Sardis Baptist Church, and burial was in Lone Cherry Cemetery, Mangham. The Rev. Wayne Stroud and the Rev. Joe Mongle were the officiating ministers.

Mr. Dorman is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Earnest McMurray and Mrs. Elaine Dupuy, both of Winnsboro; a son, James Leon Dorman, Jr., West Monroe, and 11 grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Jake McCain, William McMurray, Johnny Troha, Earl Albritton, Eddie Rhymes and Lester Mayner.
