Jim M. McDonald

Jim M. McDonald, for years a resident of this parish, died at his home n [sic in] lower ward 8, on Merango, one day this week. The Watchman and the people of this parish extend to the bereaved family sincere regrets of his passing to the Great Beyond.

Mr. McDonald was a member of the church, a worker for Christ. He had been confined to his bed for the past month.

He leaves to mourn his death, his widow and eight [sic nine] children, as follows: T. A. McDonald, John McDonald, Charlie McDonald, Mrs. W. H. Curry, Mrs. Carl Williams and Mrs. Sherwood Poole, all of ward 8; Bill McDonald of this parish and Jimmie McDonald of East Carroll parish, and Mrs. Mary Harveston of Amite; also 28 grandchildren and two great grandchildren, and a number of brothers.
