Funeral services for James M. Griffith, 83, of Winnsboro, LA will be held at Shady Grove Baptist Church on Saturday, July 17, 2010 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Don Blackmon officiating. Interment will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery under the direction of Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home in Winnsboro.
James Griffith was born October 21, 1926 in Hattiesburg, MS and passed away Wednesday July 14, 2010 at Franklin Medical Center in Winnsboro. He was a resident of Jigger, a dairy farmer, retired from a production rig in the oil field, and worked at a cotton gin. He was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.

The Honorary Pallbearers will be Johnathan Robinson, Shawn Griffith, Scooter Lee Crain, Devin Crain, and Zach Miller.
The family will receive friends at Shady Grove Baptist Church from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM Friday, July 16, 2010.
