James M. Smith

James M. Smith, aged 62 years, died at Shreveport, June 21. The funeral services were conducted at the Welcome Home cemetery, June 23, by Rev. A. H. Howard, of the Clarks church.

He leaves four daughters and one son.

His illness was only a few days in duration.

Grayson, La., June 25. - Kirby [sic James] Smith of Clarks, La., died at the charity hospital in Shreveport Tuesday. The body was shipped to Grayson and interred in the Welcome Home Cemetery Wednesday.

Mr. Smith leaves three brothers and a sister, Monroe Jarrell of the People's Mercantile Company, Columbia; Dr. Columbus Jarrell of Crowville, La.; Cicero Jarrell of Winnsboro, La., and Mrs. Thompson Dunn of Kelly, La.
