SPECIAL TO THE EXPRESS

HONDO -- Funeral services for James M. Prescott, 85, a resident of Hondo for seven years, will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday at Guinn-Horger Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. He died Tuesday in a local nursing home.

He is survived by two sons, Finis A. and James M. Prescott Jr., both of Hondo; four daughters, Mrs. Mavis Stockbridge and Mrs. Joe Embrey of Hondo, Mrs. Bud Weeden of Turlock, Calif., and Mrs. Clayton Rafael of San Antonio; two brothers; three sisters; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
