James Marcus Duff

MOUNT OLIVE -- Funeral services for James Marcus Duff, 78, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Oak Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Mims Mitchell Funeral Home in charge.

Duff died Tuesday at his residence in Mount Olive following a brief illness.

He was a member of the Church of Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Myrtle Lee Duff; four sons, Cyril Duff of Jackson and Corthall, Carroll, and Robert Duff, all of Rt. 4 Collins; three daughters, Mrs. Emogene Rutland of Rt. 4 Collins, Mrs. Elsie [sic Elise] Williams of Mount Olive, and Mrs. Marilyn Waldrop of Chicago, Ill.; three brothers, Carl and Lewis Duff, both of Columbia, and John Duff of Laurel; three sisters, Mrs. Eunice Duckworth of Columbia, Mrs. Winnie Sullivan of Mount Olive and Mrs. Daisey Harvey of Biloxi, and 13 grandchildren.
