James Martell Puckett Jr., psychology and sociology department chair for Texas A&M University-Kingsville, died March 17, 2006. He was 55.
Survivors include a son, Nicholas James Puckett of Corpus Christi; his parents, James and Alice Puckett of Kansas; and a sister, Julia Morrison of Oklahoma.
Services will be at 10 a.m. March 22 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Burial will be in Robstown Memorial Park, Robstown.
