James Marvin Gill Services Wednesday

Final rites were held 3 p.m. Wednesday for James Marvin Gill, 65 year old Rankin county resident who died Monday night at the Veteran's Administration Hospital.

Services were held from the Rock Bluff Baptist church, Rankin county, with Veteran's Hospital Chaplain Vaughan and the Reverend E. O. Parker, pastor of the Rock Bluff church, officiating.

Mr. Gill was an employee of the Veteran's Administration and was a member of the Forest Hill Masonic lodge.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Amy Searcy Gill; two sisters, Mrs. Lula Gibson and Mrs. Bessie Daniels, both of Puckett; three neices [sic nieces], Mrs. Hazel Jones, Mize, and Mrs. Johnnie Mae Hawkins and Mrs. Fannie Lou Gill, both of Puckett; three nephews, Dr. P. H. Gill, Atlanta, Ga., Sgt. Joe Gill, Big Springs, Texas, and Kenneth Aiken, New York City, and a number of great-neices [sic great-nieces] and nephews.
