James N. Whittington
February 18, 1919 - April 23, 2006

Mrs. James ‘Jerry’ Norine Whittington -- a native and lifelong resident of Mobile died on Sunday, April 23, 2006 at a local hospital. She was a charter member of Ann Street Baptist Church, and a longtime member of Riverside Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Oliver Whittington.

She is survived by one son, John S. (Yvonne) Whittington; three grandchildren, James S. (Rita) Whittington, Connie D.(Johnny) Langenbach, John Van (Stephanie) Whittington; five great-grandchildren, Joshua I. Whittington, Mason S. Langenbach, Blake T. Langenbach, Emily Jade Whittington, Savana Whittington; one sister, Eleanor (Jim) Neal, all of Mobile; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held from the graveside on Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at 10 A.M.

Visitation will be 8:30 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. Wednesday morning at the funeral home. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
