JAMES OLIVER ELLZEY

James Oliver Ellzey, 70, of Route 2, Taylorsville, died Saturday, March 14, 1992, at Methodist Hospital in Hattiesburg.

The funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Memory Chapel Funeral Home, with burial in the Big Creek Cemetery. The Rev. T. R. Coulter and Dr. Pat Nowell will officiate.

He was a retired farmer. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of Soso Baptist Church. He was a Mason and a member of the Hebron Masonic Lodge.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Wynema McKinley and Hilda Grace Johnson.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Ellzey of Route 2, Taylorsville; two sisters, Sibyl Garcia of Monterey, Calif. and Odell Wester of Lithia Springs, Ga.; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Miller, David Miller, Hilton Hill, Greg Hill, Steven Holloway and Milton Gandy.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. today at Memory Chapel Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
