A machinist, he died Wednesday, April 14, 2004, at his residence in Baton Rouge. He was 54 and a native of Baton Rouge. Graveside service at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker, at 9 a.m. Wednesday, April 21, 2004.
Survived by his son, Wade Roodruff of Dry Prong; brother, Thomas Richardson of Baton Rouge; two nieces, Becky Richardson and Lori Cage; and two nephews, Jacob Richardson and Henry Reeves.
Preceded in death by parents, James Richardson Sr. and Bonnie Richardson; son, J.J. Roodruff; and a sister, Jerry Newell.
