Jim Stewart
James Randall Stewart, 74, of Burnsville, Mississippi, formerly of Joliet, Illinois, died Friday, June 29, 2012, at his residence. Mr. Stewart was retired from Ford Motor Company in Chicago Heights, IL, after working for 46 years as an Overhead Crane Operator. He was also a youth baseball and basketball coach for many years. He enjoyed NASCAR and Chicago Cubs baseball.
Visitation is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home on Tuesday.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 3, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Glen, officiated by Bro. Roger Wood. Interment will follow in Harmony Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Timmy Joe Thacker, Billy Don Hamm, Jr., Ricky Joe Johnson, Tommy Dale Johnson, Matthew Whirley, and Bud Johnson. Billy Don Hamm, Sr. will serve as Honorary Pallbearer.
Cutshall Funeral Home of Glen, MS is entrusted with arrangements.
He is survived by his wife, Jackie Stewart of Burnsville, MS; two sons, Matthew Stewart of Kankakee, IL, and James Stewart, Jr. of Joliet, IL; two daughters, Lorraine Stewart of Iuka, MS, and Cynthia Quintero and husband, Johnny, of Burnsville, MS; one brother, Charles Stewart of Braidwood, IL; one sister, Mary Lou Liberty of Joliet, IL; eighteen grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Preston Stewart; his mother, Alta Jones Mobley; a brother, Johnny Ray Jones; and a sister, Laura Jean Kincade.
