James Roddy Luster

James Roddy Luster, 68, of Brandon, MS, passed away at home on December 27, 2015.
Jim was born in Jackson, MS on May 25, 1947, to Sadie and Roddy Finley Luster. He graduated from Provine High School and attended Hinds Jr. College.
Jim was preceded in death by his wife of 19 years, Brenda Dixon Luster, and his parents.
He is survived by his children, Randy (Christy) Luster, James (Rachel) Luster, Michael Luster and Leigh Anne Luster, grandchildren, sister, Lynda Fagan and brother, Steve (Cindy) Luster.
Jim was a member of the MS Air National Guard for several years, worked in law enforcement and retired several years ago after selling cars in the Jackson area for over 25 years. He loved to hunt, fish and ride motorcycles with family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Parkway Funeral Home in Ridgeland at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2015. Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. at the funeral home on December 30, 2015.
Memorial donations may be made in Jim's name to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
