James Samuel ‘Sam’ Terrell
James Samuel (Sam) Terrell, 58, of Route 1, Liberty, died this morning at his home.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Liberty Methodist Church with the Rev. Aubrey Smith, pastor, officiating, assisted by Walter Blalock.
Burial will be in Terrell Cemetery, with Brown's Funeral Home in Liberty in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be from 1-10 pm. today and 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Terrell was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Air Force. He served in the Air Force for 20 years and worked in the Liberty post office after his retirement. He was a native of Amite County.
Survivors include his wife Sallie E. Terrell of Liberty; two sons, James E. Terrell of McComb and George A. Terrell of Liberty; one brother, Robert N. (Bob) Terrell of Liberty; four grandchildren.
