Services for Mr. James T. ``Pete'' Duckworth, Jr., 81, of Epps, LA will be 11:00AM Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at New Hope Church of God near Darnell, LA with Rev Bob Sclemmer officiating. Interment to follow in Unity Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Rayville, LA.
Mr. Pete was a member of New Hope Church of God, and a retired dairy farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents, James T. Duckworth, Sr. and Myrtle Lee Duckworth; brother, Doyle ``Cooter'' Duckworth; son, Bob Duckworth, and his wife, Lurline Motley Duckworth.
He is survived by his sons, David Wayne Duckworth and his wife Marilyn, of Epps, LA, Bill Duckworth and his wife Chris of Epps, LA , Brad Thedford Duckworth and his wife Laurie. Sister, Audyess Johnson of Oak Grove, LA; Grandchildren, Jeff Duckworth, and wife April, Brian Duckworth and wife Cindy, Cassi Duckworth Gilbert and her husband William, Lee Duckworth and his wife Kasey, B. J. Duckworth and his wife Danielle, Chelsea Duckworth, Colton Duckworth, James Duckworth, Charise Duckworth; Great Grandchildren, Tyler Duckworth, Cameron Duckworth, Jordan Duckworth, Emma Grace Gilbert, Emily Duckworth and Jessica Stanfill.
Pallbearers will be Lee Duckworth, B. J. Duckworth, Jeff Duckworth, Brain Duckworth, Mark Duckworth and Jerry David Duckworth.
Visitation will be from 6:00PM-8:00PM Tuesday at the church.
