J. T. Twomey Rites Set for Thursday

James Thomas Twomey, 84, died at his residence at Woods, on Rt. 2, Tenaha, Tuesday, following a lengthy illness. He was a native of Panola County.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Old Center Church with the Rev. Earl Moore and the Rev. Elmer Matthews officiating. Burial will be in the Old Center Cemetery under the direction of Hawthorn Funeral Home.

Mr. Twomey is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Chester Pitts and Mrs. Doris Boyd both of Tenaha; one brother, Bill Twomey of Tenaha; one sister, Mrs. Nellie Jay of DeBerry; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
