REV. JAMES VIRGIL TAYLOR

Rev. James Virgil Taylor, age 90, of Camden, died Tuesday, May 08, 2007 at his home. He was a Nazarene minister for 35 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Aaron and Betty Sayes Taylor; and brother, Edward Taylor. He is survived by his wife, Ida Elizabeth Taylor of Camden; sons, David Taylor of Camden and Robert Dean Taylor of Grand Island, NE; daughter, Roberta Dianne Taylor of Ester, AK; brother, Lloyd Taylor of Olathe, KS; sister, Mary Ann Mayne of Salt Lake City, UT; sixteen grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at Proctor Funeral Home with burial at 1:30 p.m. at Forest Park West Cemetery in Shreveport, LA. Rev. Richard Foster will officiate the service.
