JAMES W. BOLIVER
James W. Boliver, 78, of Laurel, died Monday, Dec. 5, 1994, at his residence.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Sky View Congregational Methodist Church in Jones County, with burial in the Sky View Cemetery. The Revs. Jimmy Holder and Jim Jones will officiate.
He was [a] retired construction worker with Brown & Root Construction Company. He was a member of Union Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by one son, Robert L. Boliver; one grandson; one great-grandson; one brother and one sister.
He is survived by five sons, James A. Boliver of Eudora, Ark., Billy N. Boliver of Laurel, Douglas F. Boliver of Ovett, Ronald L. Boliver of Sharon, and Donald W. Boliver of Laurel; one daughter, Lythaneial Smith of Orange Beach, Ala.; one sister, Louise Hall of Moselle; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Keith Hodge, Jeff Ishee, Greg Hertenstien, Roy Rogers, Jackie Jefcoats, and Connie Stroud.
The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. on Wednesday.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. today at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, which is in charge of arrangements.
