James Wesley Herlong, 78, of El Cajon died Feb. 13. He was born in Shreveport, La., and was the executive vice president for a convenience-store chain.
Survivors include his wife, Lelia Herlong; daughters, Linda Jackson of Oklahoma City, Saundra Brogdon of Flowery Branch, Ga., and Janet Murray of Knob Noster, Mo.; stepson, Ron Wilson of Phoenix; and nine grandchildren.
Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Foothills United Methodist Church, 4031 Avocado Road, La Mesa.
Inurnment: El Cajon Cemetery.
Arrangements: Neptune Society.
