James W. Emmons

PELICAN -- James William Emmons, 76, of Pelican died Friday in Winnfield after a long illness.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. in the Drewett Memorial Chapel in Mansfield with the Rev. T. B. Gillooly officiating. Burial will be in the Wallace Cemetery.

Survivors include a brother, W. O. Emmons of Leesville; four sisters, Mrs. Annie Butler of Houma, Mrs. Pauline Bufkin of Mansfield, Mrs. Melba [sic Melva] Gregory of Pelican and Mrs. Omenya [sic Omega] Thomas of Sulphur.
