James W. Rolen
WINNFIELD -- Services for James W. Rolen will be at 1 p.m. today in the chapel of Southern with the Revs. Elsie Ray Johnson and Gary Parker officiating. Burial will be in Hurricane Grove Cemetery, Sikes.
Rolen, 57, of Sikes died at 8:05 p.m. Saturday in Louisiana State University Medical Center, Shreveport.
He was an Air Force veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his mother, Margaret Rolen of Sikes; five daughters, Nina Ingles, Shelley Starr, Joanne Rolen and Tracey Rolen, all of Bossier City, and Vicki Rolen of Sikes; three sons, Terry Rolen of Lafayette, and Nicki Rolen and Jamie Rolen, both of Sikes; five brothers, Charles Rolen of Nashville, Tenn., Eugene Rolen of West Monroe, and Donald Rolen, Ronnie Rolen and Connie Rolen, all of Lynwood, Wash.; three sisters, Ella Parker of Sikes, Orell Parker of Atlanta and Alene Coon of Lynwood, Wash.; and nine grandchildren.
