Jane Adelle Armstrong, 76, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2014, at her residence. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 24, 2014, at Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church, Crystal Springs.
Jane, a lifelong resident of Crystal Springs, was known as “Mama Jane” to her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and she dearly enjoyed spending time with all of them. She loved her church family at Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church where she taught the little children for many years.
She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Lauren Matthews.
She is survived by her mother, Jewel Adelle Matthews of Crystal Springs; her husband of 58 years, Billy Webster Armstrong of Crystal Springs; son, Paul Matthew Armstrong (Kim), son, Jon Durward Armstrong (Judy), son, Carson Webster Armstrong (Louise); 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
A private interment to be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church Building Fund, 3121 Didlake Road, Crystal Springs, MS 39059.
