Services Saturday

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Graveside services for Mrs. Jane Ann McCall Preddy, 59, of Wappinger's Falls, N. Y., who died Friday in a Poughkeepsie hospital from injuries received in an automobile accident, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Sunset Cemetery in Mountain Home. The Rev. David Mossbarger will officiate.

Born Aug. 9, 1935 in Port Arthur, Mrs. Preddy had been a resident of New York for 10 years, formerly residing in San Antonio. She was president of Architecture on Stage, Inc., and was a member of several theater restoration groups in New York City, the Municipal Art Society of New York City and the DeWitt Cooper Museum Society. She was also a member of the Episcopal church. She had taught at Columbia University in New York, and was the author of a book on theater architecture.

Survivors include a son, Phil D. Carroll of Austin; and three grandchildren, James Patrick Carroll, Crystal Lynn Carroll and Alan Jean Thompson.

Grimes Funeral Chapel in Kerrville is in charge of arrangements.
