Jane Roberson

Mrs. Jane Gann Roberson, 58, wife of Fred M. Roberson, 729 McCullough St. died Tuesday at the Baptist Hospital in Little Rock after an illness of several weeks.

Mrs. Roberson was born January 30, 1912 at Laneburg, Arkansas. After graduating from El Dorado High School, she made her home in Camden with her aunt and uncle, the late Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Scott while employed here.

Mrs. Roberson was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star at Bastrop, La., where she and her family lived prior to moving back to Camden last year. She was also an active member of the First Baptist Church here.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Dr. Fred M. Roberson of Linden, Texas and Captain John Roberson of Sherman, Texas AFB; two sisters, Mrs. Walter Tate of Camden and Mrs. R. B. Robins of Chicago; four brothers, John W. Gann of Kansas City, Mo., J. C. Gann of Teague, Texas, Carl Gann of Sacramento, Califorina [sic California] and Mac Gann of Houston, Texas and four grandchildren.

Funeral will be held at the First Baptist Church at 2:30 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Memorial Park under the direction of Proctor's Funeral Home.
