Janet Louise Spiess
Janet Louise Spiess went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 22, 2008 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born September 28, 1942 to B.W. and Juanita Woodson. She graduated from Calallen High School and married her high school sweetheart, Kenneth Spiess.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of forty years.
She is survived by two daughters: Darla (Rick) Baker of Mckinney and Michelle (James) Becton of Corpus Christi, and two grandsons: Benjamin and Joshua Becton.
She was a charter member of Annaville Baptist Church. She enjoyed needlework of all kinds, painting, and spending time with her grandsons. She is well remembered for the time she spent helping her friend Beverly Holman at Back to Basics Nutrition Shop in Annaville.
A Memorial service will held 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 25, 2008 at Annaville Baptist Church, 4025 Violet Rd. Corpus Christi Texas, 78410.
