Janice Ann Williams
March 15, 1939 - October 6, 2006)

Mrs. Janice Ann (Adams) Williams, age 67, of Bossier City, La., passed away Friday, October 6, 2006, at the Autumn Leaves Nursing Home in Winnfield, La. She was formerly from Winnfield where she was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Mrs. Willams was a graduate of Winnfield High School and attended Northwester State University in Natchitoches, La., where she was very active in drama and performing arts. She was an Office Manager in the Hotel Industry. Mrs. Williams loved traveling, entertaining, cooking, and spending time with her family.

She was the daughter of the late Woodrow Adams and the late Marie (Walker) Adams.

She is survived by her four daughters, Renee Whitmore and husband Brian of Bossier City, La. Claire Navarro and husband Marlon of Memphis, Tenn. JoAnna Kelly and husband Aris of Bossier City, La. Janice Warner and husband Justin of Bossier City, La.; two sons, Steve Williams and wife Paula of Jonesboro, La. Rodger Williams and wife Sharon of Jonesboro, La.; one sister, MaDonna Womack of Winnfield, La.; two brothers, Conley Adams of Winnfield, La. David Adams and wife Sue of Winnfield, La.; [and] fifteen grandchildren Lindsay Whitmore Jones, Devon, Rusty, and Ryan Whitmore; Chase, Chance, and Clay Williams; Garrett and Gunner Williams; Caleb and Ashleigh Kelly; Kaitlin Navarro; Kylie and Zach Flowers; Braleigh Warner; and twin boys due in December.

Services are under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield, La., where the family will receive friends from 4:30 PM to 9:00 PM Saturday, October 7, 2006 and from 10:00 AM to service time Sunday. Funeral services will be held at Southern Funeral Home at 4:00 PM Sunday, October 8, 2006 , with Rev. Ken Thomas officiating. Interment will be at the Garden Of Memories Cemetery in Winnfield, La.

Chase Williams, Rusty Whitmore, Ryan Whitmore, Bryan Adams, Delane Crain, and Mike Tinnerello will serve as Pallbearers.
