Rites Set Today For Metals Firm Owner

Funeral services for Jasper Collins, 60, of 6419 Chevy Chase, owner of the All Metals Fabricating & Engineering Co., will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Chapel, 7405 W. Northwest Highway. Burial will be in Grove Hill Memorial Park.

A Carthage, Panola County native, Collins died here Saturday.

He had owned the All Metals Fabricating & Engineering Co. 15 years. Collins was a member of the Dallas Salesmanship Club, Church of the Incarnation, Hella Temple Shrine and the Highland Park Masonic Lodge.

He attended the University of the South in Sewanee, Tenn., and Southern Methodist University, and was an Army Air Corps officer during World War II.

Collins formerly was an insurance agent for the Derrell G. Elmore Insurance Co. here.

Survivors: Wife and a brother, Whitfield J. Collins of Fort Worth.
