Jean Rollins Smith
Jean Rollins Smith, 70 of Gloster, died Nov. 2, 2011, at her residence.
Visitation is 1 p.m. today at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster until services at 2. The Rev. Eddie Painter will officiate. Burial will be in the Rollins Family Cemetery near Gloster.
Mrs. Smith was born June 9, 1941, in Amite County, to Carl and Ruth Brantley Rollins.
She was a homemaker and was a faithful member of Galilee Baptist Church in Gloster until her illness prevented her from attending.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by two husbands, Glen Austin Pierce and Robert ``Bobby'' Earl Smith Jr.; her parents; and a sister, June Rollins.
Survivors include a son, Bruce Forman and his wife Lisa of Phil Campbell, Ala.; one daughter, Jeneane Robertson and her husband Chris of Gloster; a stepson, Rob Smith and wife Guynell of Natchez; a stepdaughter, Kitty Freeman and husband Chuck of McComb; two brothers, Carroll Rollins and wife Mary of Gloster, and Odell Rollins of Gloster; a sister, Connie Knight and husband Keith of Prattville, Ala.; five grandchildren, Tyler Forman, Alyssa Forman McMickin, Austin Brown, Amanda Brown and Gabe Smith; and a great-grandchild, Hunter Lee McMickin.
Pallbearers are Dan Duck, Shannon Rollins, Steven Rollins, Justin Dawson, Arnell Rollins and Nolan Swearingen.
Honorary pallbearers are Bobby Payne, John Dean, Joe Ray, Jerry Jackson, Bubba Foster, Moon Mullins, Ben Anders, Dakota Jones and Tiger Christian.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn., or to Galilee Baptist Church.
