OAK GROVE, LA - Funeral services for Mrs. Jeanette Hays Hatten, age 91, of Oak Grove, Louisiana will be held at 2PM on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Grove.

Reverend Jimbo Herring will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Oak Grove.

Mrs. Hatten passed away Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Carroll Nursing Home in Oak Grove.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Audis Woodrow Hatten; her parents, William Austin Hays and Mattie Margurite Troupe Hays; brother, Jim Hays; brother, Billy Hays; sister, Katherine Hays and sister, Mary Maslin.

Jeanette is survived by her daughter, Sandra Mills of Topeka, Kansas; grandson and his wife, Kevin & Susan McCarter of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; granddaughter and her husband, Karla & Todd Burnett of Topeka, Kansas; grandson and his wife, Kyle & Michelle McCarter of Tucson, Arizona; grandson and his wife, James & Gretchen McCarter of Leawood, Kansas; granddaughter, Julie McCarter of Topeka, Kansas; 7 great grandchildren: Taylor McCarter, Garrett McCarter, Brody McCarter, Paetyn McCarter, Hunter McCarter, Annie Burnett and Tuff Burnett; and a brother, Joe Hays of Oak Grove.

Pallbearers are: Ed Lester, Jim Lester, Mike Cupit, Kevin McCarter, Kyle McCarter and Scott Terrell.

Family will receive friends between the hours of 4 to 7PM on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Cox Funeral Home in Oak Grove.
