Jeannine Miram Harper

Funeral services for Jeannine Miram Harper, 50, of Monroe, were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 8, in the Chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro.

Interment was in Crowville Masonic Cemetery with the Rev. Allan Stephens officiating.

A native of Mangham, she was a retired teacher and a member of the First Baptist Church in West Monroe. She also worked as guidance counselor of the vocational-technical school in Ferriday. She died on June 6, 1985 following a lengthy illness.

Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Leota L. Harper, West Monroe and one sister, Mrs. George M. Sartor, West Monroe.

Pallbearers were William Charles Street, Jimmy Street, Joel Street, Clay Sartor, George Sartor, Glen Ratcliff, Michael Choate and Charles Hatten.
