Jearl Vondean Seale

Jearl Vondean Seale, 88, of Fort Worth, formerly of Sweetwater, died Monday, June 21, 2004, in Fort Worth.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 24, at Garden of Memories Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Dean Seale officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home. Masonic graveside services will be conducted by Sweetwater Masonic Lodge #571.

Seale was born May 3, 1916, in Roscoe and married Jimmye Ann Hicks Oct. 9, 1937, in Sweetwater. He was a member of Broadway Baptist Church and a graduate of Roscoe High School in 1935. Seale was a 50 year member of Sweetwater Masonic Lodge #571 and was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason. He was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Roby. Seale had lived in Sweetwater since 1950, and in Roscoe before that.

Survivors include two sons, Rev. Jimmy Dean Seale and wife, Doris, of Sweetwater and Jearl Wayne Seale and wife, Linda, of Kerrville; three sisters, Felba Ware of Phoenix, Ariz., Jo Alice Dudley of North Carolina and Melba Light of Snyder; two brothers, Dan Seale and Johnny Seale, both of Phoenix; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jimmye Ann Seale in 1997; and one son, Jerry in 1964.
