Jeff Emmons
November 22, 1942 - January 23, 2016

Jeff Emmons, 73, of Gun Barrel City passed away surrounded by family on January 23, 2016, at his residence.

Jeff was born in Amarillo, Texas, on November 22, 1942, the only son of Marie (Davlin) Moore and Aaron Jefferson Emmons.

Jeff is a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving 3 years, 9 months, 27 days, 8 hours, and 15 minutes. He owned and operated Outlast Mfg. Co. He loved The Dallas Cowboys, Elvis, country music, karaoke, and most importantly, his family. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Jeff is survived by his mother; Marie Davlin Moore of Kemp, Texas; four daughters, Connie St. John of Sutherland Springs, Texas; Brenda and son-in-law, Russell Burns of Bristol, Texas; Jennifer and son-in-law, Eric Johnson of Temple, Texas; Heather Emmons of Gun Barrel City, Texas; one son; Bryan and daughter-in-law, Carolyn Rodgers of Payne Springs, Texas; three sisters; Virginia Dutton of Seven Points, Texas; Jan and brother-in-law, Chuck Booker of Ft. Worth, Texas; Sue and brother-in-law, Perry Hart, of Mena, Arkansas.

He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and many cherished friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jeff Emmons, one sister, Jeanette Rodgers, step-father, Buddy Moore, and brother-in-law, Bill Dutton.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 29, 2016 from 6-8 pm at Phalba Independent Full Gospel Church in Phalba , Texas, 11064 State Highway 198, Canton, Texas. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Phalba Independent Full Gospel Church, with Brother Mixon officiating. Interment to follow at Cedar Creek Memorial Park, in Mabank, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, Jeff asks “Please do NOT vote for Hillary.”
