Jeff Lowery

Jeff Lowery, 63, of Winnsboro, died September 7, at the VA Hospital in Alexandria. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. in Temple Baptist Church with Dr. Randall Sledge officiating. Burial was in South Central Cemetery, Wisner.

Mr. Lowery was employed as a construction worker. He was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Carrie Lowery, Winnsboro; one son, John Dale Lowery, Winnsboro; one daughter, Mrs. Patricia Freeman, Winnsboro; one sister, Mrs. Virlee Pippin, Winnsboro; one half-sister, Mrs. Susie Copeland, West Monroe; and two grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Jack Vines, Hook Vines, Ebb Vines, Jimmy Vines, Chester Cupp, Murry Martin, and L. V. Hendry.
