Jenne Rose McCarty

SHREVEPORT - Services for Mrs. Jenne Rose McCarty, 74, of Shreveport, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday August 29 at Rose-Neath's Marshall Street Chapel. The Rev. Carl E. Rhoads, associate pastor of First United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be at Forest Park Cemetery.

Mrs. McCarty died Thursday August 27, 1987, at Schumpert Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born in Grandon [sic Grandin], Mo. and had been a resident of Shreveport for 54 years. Mrs. McCarty was retired as a saleswoman for Jordan & Booth Clothing Store. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Auxillary of the American Legion.

Mrs. McCarty was preceded in death by her husband, Horace McCarty.

She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Georgia Hudgens of Shreveport; two daughters, Kathy M. Poss of Shreveport and Patricia M. Morris of Huntsville, La. [sic Ala.]; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Cecil J. Poss, Stephen C. Poss, James S. Poss, Ph Kouh Wong, David Morris and Bud Ferrie.
