Jennefer Yvonne Allen

LIVINGSTON -- Jennefer Yvonne Allen, 47, of Livingston died on Monday, Dec. 1, 2008, in Houston. A memorial service will be held in her honor at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, at Hickory Grove Church in Livingston, with Pastor Wayne Landrum officiating.

Jennefer was born April 12, 1961 in Harlingen, to parents Doyle Eugene and Hilda Bearden Helms. She attended Angelina Junior College, was a member of Phi Theta Kappa and received her business degree, among others. She was known as a loving mother, and daughter.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Karen Delene and her father, Doyle Eugene Helms.

She is survived by her daughters, Ivy Helms of Lufkin and Kandra Chavez and husband Ishmael of Diboll; mother, Hilda Helms of Livingston; grandchildren, Selexy Chavez and Eugene Chavez, both of Diboll; special friends, Bebe and Johnny Hunter and family and Teresa and Greg Goodwin and family and a host of extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Livingston Special Olympics at Special Olympics Texas, 7715 Chevy Chase Dr. Suite 120, Austin, Texas 78752. Cochran Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
