Mrs. C. I. Parker Succumbs; Buried At Old Union

Funeral services for Mrs. Clarence I. Parker, 58, who died at 11 p.m. August 17, 1961, in a Winnfield hospital after a long illness were held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Southern Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Willie James officiating.

Burial was in the Old Union Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Mrs. Parker was a resident of the Hudson Community.

Survivors include her husband, Clarence I. Parker, Winnfield; three sons, Kersh I. Parker, Natchitoches; Hoyett Parker, Norwalk, Ia.; Jack Loyd Parker, Boyce; one daughter, Mrs. Audie Lee Young, West Monroe; four brothers, Lawson L. Miller, Price, Texas; Jack Miller, Winnfield; Walter C. Miller, Joyce; and Richard S. Miller, New Iberia; four sisters, Mrs. H. A. Lane and Mrs. A. E. Oglesby, both of West Monroe; Mrs. J. C. Whisenant, Baton Rouge; and Mrs. R. W. Colline [sic Collins], Tulsa, Okla.; and ten grandchildren.
