Jerry Lane Rollins
Jerry Lane Rollins, 66, a longtime resident of Gloster, died Feb. 24, 2004, at Liberty Community Living Center in Liberty.
Visitation is 6 to 9 tonight at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster. Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery near Gloster.
Mr. Rollins was born March 13, 1937, in Amite County. He was the son of Sidney Rollins of Gloster and the late Maunita Whittington Rollins.
Mr. Rollins was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Sanders Rollins; one son, Jason Lane Rollins; and his mother. He was a logger.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Ellis Hollingsworth of Gloster; two sons and daughters-in-law, Tim and Tammy Rollins, and Jerry Wayne and Vickie Rollins, all of Gloster; 12 grandchildren, Amy and Daniel Hollingsworth, Corey, Kristen, Kevin, Morgan, Blake, Dylan, Trisca and Jennifer Rollins, Brandi Cummings and Trish Whalen; his father; one brother, Derwood Rollins of Gloster; and two sisters, Carolyn Toney and Beverly Ann Beasley, both of Gloster.
