CAUSEY, JERRY LONZO

A retired pipefitter for Ethyl Corp. and resident of Meadville, Miss., he died Wednesday, June 26, 1996, at his residence. He was 63, born July 14, 1932, in Franklin County, Miss., reared in Baton Rouge and a resident until he retired. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.

Visiting was held at Franklin Funeral Home chapel, Meadville, at 6 p.m. Thursday. Religious services at the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Pat Sullivan. Burial in Middleton Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Survived by four daughters and four sons-in-law, Kathy and Gary Briggs, Baton Rouge, Claudia and Ronnie Jackson, Manasas, Va., Sally and Danny Coleman, Brookhaven, Miss., and Jerri Lynn and Dwayne Vaughn, Wesson, Miss.; grandchildren, Colleen McDonald, Angela and Danny Raborn and Robert and Nikki Pickel, all of Baton Rouge, Ronnie Gene and Rhonda Jean Arnold and Ashley Coleman, all of Brookhaven, and Michael and Joshua Jackson, both of Manasas; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Robert Charles Pickel, both of Baton Rouge; a sister-in-law, Martha Causey; and friends, including Ms. Annie Laura Summerall, Meadville.

Preceded in death by parents, Clinton A. and Mae Bell Whittington Causey; and a brother, Arthur Causey.

Pallbearers will be Michael Jackson, Robert Pickel, Ronnie Gene Arnold, Hugh Dier, Bruce Dier and Steve Causey.

He was a member of Middleton Creek Primitive Baptist Church.
