Funeral services for Jerry M. Rolen, 36, of Monroe were held at 3 p.m., Friday, Oct. 22, in the Chapel of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home.
Interment was in New Ogden Cemetery with the Rev. Randy Bowman and the Rev. Ernest Oliver officiating.
A native of Winnsboro, he was born on May 31, 1946. He was an oil field driller. He died on Oct. 20, 1982 of a short illness.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Betty Jones Rolen, Monroe; two sons, Keith Rolen, Fort Necessity and Shadrick Rolen, St. Paul, Minn.; one daughter, Miss Kelinda Rolen, Fort Necessity; five brothers, Woodrow Rolen, Cotton Valley, Marshall Rolen, Denver, Colo., Loyd Rolen, Monroe, Henry Rolen and Douglas Rolen, both of Winnsboro; three sisters, Dorothy Antley, Pineville and Esther Halley, Monroe and Ruth Ingram, Winnsboro; three half-sisters, Nellie Linder, Winnsboro and Vonda Ford and Lorraine Parker, both of Jonesville; one half-brother, Milo Ryan, Oxford, Miss.; three step-children, Kimberly Navarro, Manuel Navarro, and Karla Navarro, all of Monroe.
Pallbearers were Wade Rolen, John Rolen, Mark Ingram, Kenneth Wayne Ingram, Eddie Ward, and Joe Howard.
