Jerry Savell, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at 1:30 AM. Age 68 years a native of Springhill, LA and a resident of Houma, LA for 5 years and the New Orleans, LA area for the past 39 years.
Beloved husband of Brenda Duplantis Savell. Loving father of Tina Fouquet Broekman (Nicholas). Grandfather of Kristyn Lynn Fouquet (Wayne), and Sarah Elizabeth Fouquet. Son of the late Jiles (Pete) Franklin Savell and Martile Farrington. Step son of the Martha Savell and the late Charles Rayford Farrington. Brother of Claude (Pete) F. Savell (Jeri), Sammy A. Savell (Rheba), Steve L. Savell (Darlene), Diana Barkley (Walter), Charles Farrington, and the late William Clint Savell. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Monday, October 26, 2015 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and again on Tuesday morning October 27, 2015 from 8:30 AM until 10:50 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 3897 Bayou Black Dr., Houma, LA with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2, Houma, LA.
