Jesse D. Greer

JENA -- Services for Jesse Durhan [sic Durham] Greer will be at 2 p.m. today in Eden Methodist Church with the Rev. Pat Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Eden Cemetery under direction of Hixson Bros.

Greer, 60, of Jena died Friday in LaSalle General Hospital.

He was an oilfield worker and a Korean War veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Alline [sic Allene] Greer of Jena; two sons, Jesse W. Greer and Edmon[d] Greer, both of Trout; one daughter, Mary Tingle of Bunkie; two brothers, Marion Greer and Paul Greer, both of Trout; four sisters, Wilma Kuhn of Trout, Cleo Steen and Beatrice Hodge, both of Jena, and Elma Greer of Midway; six grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren.

Friends may call until 1:30 p.m. today in the funeral home and from 1:30 p.m. until time of services today in the church.
